Melanie South teamed with Emma Laine (FIN) to win the $25k Helsinki, Finland, defeating No.2 seeds Anna Smith and Johanna Larsson (SWE) 6-3 6-3.
It is the second time the No.4-seeded pair has combined and their second doubles title together.
“We won a $75k in Japan in Japan in November last year and it’s nice to keep a 100 percent record together,” said Surrey’s South.
“Today’s match was tough against Anna and Jo but we just went out there and had fun like we have been doing all week. Doubles is fun whether you win or lose – you do it as a team.”
